nice grilles , I'm envious of you guys with 04 and up, you have so many styles to choose from. I'm having a hard time finding a decent billet replacement for my 02

Dark Stone truck.

Can't find pictures of the HD gille installed ( painted surround dark stone ).

Here is the current setup, Hella Grille ( still black surround ) with HD lights.

?

Just spray paint it with Krylon Fushion satin black, no need for clear coat, Fushion paint is specially made to adhere to plastic, it'll last long and look great and cost you $6 for 1 can.

Have thought about changing grilles but not many have the painted H-bar grille that comes on the FX4 luxury package. I like it.

before

after (minus the broken bug shield)

chrome edition billet style grille
part number for my 04 (7L3Z-8200-AB)
list price $423.86

i purchased this at my local dealer for $368.57 plus tax. it came completely assembled with the chrome surround, ford emblem, and mounting bracket. the only thing that i had to reuse was the nuts that hold it on. it is a simple 15 minute 1 man job to take off the old and put on the new one. there are 2 botls on each side that attach the mounting bracket to the hood and then 6 bolts that go along the front of the hood, they are all easy to get to and the grille will hold itself in place with all the nuts removed. i just put this on today but once i get the truck cleaned up again ill get some better pics. i also am waiting on my new chrome bumper so ill get pics with the painted one and the chrome one.

another thing i thought i should mention is that this grille is made of plastic, not metal.
