Thanks - I actually tried taking off the molding today being that it was over 60 finally. I started with the pass. side rear door - no problem. Took me a while to get all the excess tape off - basically rubbed it off with my fingers (they're pretty raw now). The goo gone didn't seem to help much.

Luckily I then decided to do the other small trim piece on the drivers side. Lucky I say? For some reason there must have been some touch up done on my truck because when I pulled off the drivers side there was a clear ridge/line where the clearcoat was thicker

Hard to explain but it was weird and noticeable in a few spots. After all that rubbing I was pretty pissed to say the least. So off I went to the store to get some super strength weather resistant 3m tape I really liked the way it was starting to look, and with the detailing I did today I don't think there would have been a difference in color at all.

So all in all I spent close to 2 hrs between taking off the trim, rubbing off the tape, going to get more tape, putting back on the tap, and then putting back on the moldings At least I finished running my wires early this morning for my amp and I finished round 1 of the detail at 9 tonight
