To Nerf or not to Nerf...it's my question.

I could use some opinions...I have the opportunity to get some chrome or black nerf bars. 1st question is should I get them at all, and the next one is should they be chrome or black if I do get them??

Thanks.

A big NO on the step bars. Your truck looks real nice the way you have it

Nerf pro's and con's IMO:

Pros: saves your paint from rock chips (if tires stick out like mine).

Cons: Makes your truck look lower!

It looks very nice as is, but Harley bars would look pretty sweet.

I say no as well. But if you do, I say go with black as I think your reaching your limit on chrome.

I would have to agree.....however consensus is not to do it anyway. I think a smoke bug shield will help with all the chrome in the front.

Thanks to all who gave thier 2c!!!

2 nerf or not...

If you decide to go with bars, definitely go with Stainless Steel polished.
Chrome or Black (powder coated) bars will rust after a while.
Or possibly go with Aluminum bars.
I have 304SS polished full length bars on my '03 4x4 XLT w/6 ft. bed.
They stretch from the front wheels to the back wheels.
They are great.
Still look as good as the day installed... 2005.

Your Truck looks great.
Where did you get your hood?
Good aggressive look, but not too much.
