First of all it looks great! Second, the eBay link says it'll fit flaresides and stylesides. Do you or anyone else know if they will fit the fenders on an 06 XLT?

Thanks!

Dont know for sure but it says all 04' to 08' F-150's so i would assume so. Ask him. He's really good with helping with your questions. Even sent me a few pics.

They have the 3M rubber piece that goes around the edge. No tape to hold them on. They come with clips to hold them on, and use a couple of the factory bolts. Description says no drilling but i had to drill 2 holes on the underneath plastic wheel well. Also, didnt trust the clips on the back set so i put a couple holes in the flares where the factory bolts were.

So Rob, do those flares really stick out a whole inch past the fenders like the seller claims on the ebay auction?

Also, are the flares really solidly installed?

Thanks.

^^^^^

x2

I love the look of them, but want to make sure that they fit snugly. Can you show pictures of the install clips/bolts/rubber strip that you used?

Thanks.

Dont know for sure but seem too. I will measure when the rain stops and gets a bit warmer tomorrow.

Yes and no. The fronts fit tight and use 3 factory bolts and 1 that comes with the flares. But The backs dont use any bolts. Just clips. And while they do fit tight, I just didnt feel comfortable using just the clips. So I drilled my own holes. Put it on with the clips then marked the flare where the factory bolts were and drilled the holes and used the factory bolts. Fits very securely now imo.

Heres some pics that i hope will help with some of the above questions.

Uses 3 of these on front plus 4 clips.

No bolts on the rear. Only clips. Like i said above, i drilled my own holes where the factory bolts were and used them.

Have any other questions, ask away. I'll do my best to answer them.
