Hey guys, i need some help.

I want to run leds or neon or something under both sides of the cab just under the doors, and splice the wiring into the bed lights so when i push the unlock button or open a door the leds/neon will come on and light up the area under the door. Can i do this? if so, what do you guys think i would need? is it as simple as splicing into one of the bed light wires? thanks for the help!

 

There is a LED kit that installs to your running boards that are orange LEDs. They tie into your running lights. There is a guy on here that has them. Neon looks retarded.

These are weatherproof and are 12v so you could mount them with ty wraps and bases mounted to like the bottom of the door, or with 3M double sided tape. Then just ground it to the door and find the hot for the bed light and splice in.
