Why is it with every package I have ever had shipped through USPS I have never been able to track it. Everytime I enter the tracking number I receive the same generic message...
Label/Receipt Number: xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx xx
Status: Electronic Shipping Info Received

The U.S. Postal Service was electronically notified by the shipper on January 13, 2009 to expect your package for mailing. This does not indicate receipt by the USPS or the actual mailing date. Delivery status information will be provided if / when available. Information, if available, is updated every evening. Please check again later.

And it even updated after my last post!!!

Its now made it to the smaller local P.O. to be out for deliver today. Which is just crazy to me that I will get something TODAY that I paid for at 4 pm on Tuesday thats coming from CA. I think I feel a banana dance coming on.... how bout double naners...

USPS is usually very fast for me. I guess only time will tell on this one though. UPS usually gives good tracking information. Not many things come my way via Fed Ex. It's weird, I got a standard shipment from Hawaii already that I ordered on a Thursday or Friday and it arrived Monday afternoon. But whenever I order from ADS is Arizona, it takes 6 business days. Go figure. And the UPS tracking even says what day it shipped. I guess it all depends on what path it takes and how many stops it has to make along the way.

Well, to quote a little Glenn Frey (i looked that up) "The Heat Is On!"

SO...On to what really matters...The HID's.

Heres where we are at and so far it all looks great

The shipping box

The box inside the box!...its my box in a box and the harness

Inside the box, and yeah, im getting excited. TIME OUT FOR BANANA DANCE

Another shot with the ballast in my hand which includes a very nice mounting bracket for the ballast. The ballast feels like its good quality...but im certainly no expert, but I do tend to recognize cheap crap and this doenst seem to be cheap crap

Now the bad news, I have to do some work now. Install will be in a few hours.

This is unacceptable! There are more important things to be done here. Let's get those lights installed.

Hopefully mine come in today. It might not be in the negatives here (actually it's 10 with a windchill of -7) but it's definitely cold enough that I won't be going outside to do them if they do come in today. Hopefully this weekend. Everytime it warms up (30ish) we get snow.

Yes. It was an incentive to the first five people to contact XenonLink about the offer. People weren't buying from them because there was no personal information on them available. No one on the forum had them to comment either way on them. So all those five peope had to do was purchase a kit at the already discounted price for f150online members and then post an honest review, good or bad, and another kit of equal or lesser value will be shipped out for free.

^ What he said

So thats whats going on. Once you guys leave me alone long enough to get some work done Ill head out to the shop here at work, install my HID kit and share the experience with the rest.

Beyond the BOGO for the first 5, he is offering a good price to F150online members. His thread is here...https://www.f150online.com/forums/ap...ating-hid.html
