you need resistors to put a load on the flasher, Amazon.com has them, two for 19.00 shipped. One on each side.

I have the LED turn signals, tail lights as well as reverse lights. The first flasher I bought did not due the trick but then I bought one from NAPA and it fixed everything. Its is part number EP27 and says LED on the flasher. It beats wiring the load balancers on each light. Might be the same flasher for your truck but I'm not sure. My truck is 03.

A NAPA EP27 flasher sells for about 13.50 and will fit a 2005 model

Whoops, well I don't know what to tell you. It is working fine for me. I ordered the 63 Led reverse and turn sig lights and the Napa flasher has things blinking with no problems.

Its already been said, but to solve the flashers problem you need to buy an Electronic Flasher, not the regular resistance drivin kind.
There is no point in putting load equalizers or resisitors since they will burn off the extra electricity that your LEDs arent using. Plus they heat up. Do the electronic flasher!
Just make sure to periodically check your lights since you wont have the fast flash feature with the electronic flasher.
The cruise is easily solved too.
Go to the auto parts store and pic up a small 185 plug from the wiring section in the "help" branded boxes, it has enough wire and get a small bulb. Wire it into the harness at the third brake light so its in parallel with the third brake light wiring, then tape it off around the harness and tuck it away where it wont touch anything. This gives it enought resistance to run the cruise and your only using a small 185 bulb which will put out a small amount of heat compared to the load equalizers.

Hope that helps someone.

You know how i roll! lol
Yea I thought of that on the fly when i found out my cruise wasnt working.
I didnt want to run load equalizers and when i got to the accessory section and saw that my local auto depo wanted over 20$ for them, this $5 solution came to mind.
Oh and sorry i think they are 194 sockets, i must have missed the 9 and 4and hit the 8 and 5. My fingers are off today, must be time for beer

Your tail light bulbs are in backwards. Pull the bulb out, twist it 180 degrees and put them back in.
