I thought XLT mirrors were the ones like on my truck - manual just means no power

If that's correct, it'll look 1000000000x better - and yeah, def. don't skimp and PTM them too Rap - you've done sooooo much already that looks great. Then take those stickers off and that front windshield banner and you'll be all set (just my opinion).

What a great transformation from what it was

Um..... it is?

Well guys, there was only 1 set of XLT mirrors in decent shape enough to pull them. They are chrome-capped, but cant I sand them down and paint them or should I keep searching for some white-caps instead?

Here's one side installed. I cleaned them up a bit, but my camera died.

Also got my new tach-equipped cluster with white LEDs installed today. Even managed to change the ones on the A/C controls. These pics dont do justice for LEDs, they look A LOT better in person. I love the blue!!!

Yes, there is still some "teal" on the top, I guess I missed one of the bulbs

Yea, I agree with PTM the mirror caps.

Gauge cluster looks good though, Alex. Just change that bulb.

Well for the time being they look good. Tomorrow I'm going to get a closer look and see if I cant paint them or look for new ones.

Patman, I'm looking to get e-fans next. I've got my eyes on a 1/3 kit sometimes in the future

rear bumper costs wayy to much to find a new one. it would look nice, but a big hassle plus nothing would match my rear lights. the bumper is kinda a biffur that keeps them matching with the truck

Alex trucks looking way better man. I agree with everyone else you need to paint the caps white...they should pop off so you dont have to tape anything. You could also have the rear bumper painted too like you did the front and save some bucks( I don't think it would be too much like you're thinking). Your billet grill and the taillights will be the Chrome accents that will tone down the white. Besides Chrome blends into white well anyways.
Keep up the good work.

Well my rear bumper is chromed, and it is near impossible for paint to stick to chrome. I would have to get a new rear bumper. I do agree, thought, that it would look BA. I saw a Sport edition with all white and PTM front and rear bumpers and I loved it.

Update: I didnt have my grille "secured" fully, so today after work, I took her all apart, rewired my fogs (Ford dealership cut the wires) and properly secured EVERYTHING and now she's 100% complete (except for the lower bumper grille and headlights). Here's some pics I took today:

I'm not sure, but I knocked on the mirrors and they seem to be metal? If so, that just made it harder to repaint.

but thanks for the compliments guys!

-Alex

I told you the mirrors would look better . I say leave the chrome. It goes with the grille, wheels, and rear bumper well.
