I thought with HID's you need new wiring, balast, etc?

Cheap 100w off road lights will fix your problem.

Silerstars are nice.

If you can find High wattage bulbs, they will be a lot brighter but have a shorter life span, burn hotter and may cause problems with the police. You have to upgrade your bulb wiring to prevent problems if you decided to use these bulbs. You will notice a improvement over OE bulbs.

HID are they best but also the most expensive.

My thoughts exactly. I do some offroading and I wonder if these things will survive??

I have looked into some of the kits and I like the 8k or 10k they are kick a** blue. Retrosolutions seems to be held in high esteem?

I would imagine that offroading will somehow ******* up the HID wiring one way or another. I've had mine for almost a year no problems. $80 will buy you a ready-to-go kit off eBay.

Are the ballasts the fragile part of the whole system. I wonder if I could shock mount them somehow.....
