what was the torx bit for?

and i didnt think those 4 bolts were to hard to get off, just an awkward position to brake them lose. and the whole time i was pulling the first bolt off all i was thinking is how much longer is this bolt

Got mine installed this week. Wasnt that bad. I took a breaker bar in with me after reading this thread. Worked like a champ! The console came in and looked nothing like the pics on ebay! Im very pleased w/ the outcome! My jump seat is for sale BTW

2009 f150

Just bought an '09 xlt. Would love to do the same mod, of course, I'll have to wait a little while until people sell their console. Was wondering if anyone has done this with their '09?
