^^^ thats a nice color
if white weren't so overused (fleets, police, etc) it would be a nice color to mix and match things with. but my fav. Ford color is that yellow they have. I saw a NBS FX2 with yellow and a yellow suzuki in the back and i couldnt help but  |

Always been a fan of DSG and Black.
|
love my DSG color.... I was torn between black or DSG.. DSG stole my heart i guess!
|
Yea.....
Dark Shadow Gray is a nice color. To me it looks like a "truck color"... not flashy bling bling..... just nice and tough.
Hey did anybody mention Dark Stone ? That was a really nice 04-07' color too. Peace, Fish |
DSG for sure. :bandito:

The best looking paint scheme that I think Ford ever put out, I have never seen on an F-150. It is that maroon over black. I have seen it more on the 97 body style. I think it is soooooo sharp.
That was a special factory color scheme on the limited Heritage Edtion... http://www.fordf150.net/photopost/da...10P1290072.JPG |

Back in the 80's, Toyota ran an ad about the longevity of their trucks. It showed an old man looking at his old Toyota pickup, he had a scowl on his face. The caption read "Make sure you like the color" (the truck was canary yellow) |
You gotta love black when its nicely detailed...but you asked for the prettiest F150 color and that hands down has to be "white sand". My buddy just bought a new 08 with the white sand and the little metallic flakes in the paint really set it off.
|
Well, I guess if you're asking about the PRETTIEST color, I'd have to go back to about the late 80's - early 90's when they offered a color called Iris. It was an irridescent red with pink hues. That would be PRETTY.
Now, the last thing I want my ruck called is PRETTY. Of course, King Ranch and pretty are never used in the same sentence. :D I am partial to a sharp color combination that I have (Mahogany and Pueblo), but the Razor Red Tinted Clearcoat will most likely be my 2009 choice in spring. |
Hey Smokewagon.....
after I started this thread, I almost went back and changed "prettiest" to "nicest" :-)
But to tell you the truth, I like pretty trucks too. In fact, I think your Mahogany paint is "prettier" than mine :-) LOL Just playing with you. That's a nice looking truck. Hey, maybe you can confirm.... Wasn't the more rusty metallic color offered on the older King Ranches called "Chesnut" ? Peace, Fish |
