For a stealth black out look buy a black truck. Just kidding, but my patriot decals will be in this week and I will post some pics when I get them on.

I was wondering the same thing.

I would do something simple. Make your badge black with blue lettering. It would look sharp.

Yes.....

what rednoved said. Hopefully they will have your exact blue color available.

Here's mine.... I used the metallic gold lettering, since my truck has lots of metallic gold in it.

Peace,
Fish

Hey DewserB....

It's bad enough that clicking on your link to "a wealth of info" only gets the message
Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms.
But it doesn't even leave you with a space on that page, to try a new search !

So now the OP has to "search" for where he can do a "search" ! Doh !
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Question; If a person is SO tired of a subject, that they feel compelled to tell a forum visitor, "Use the search" ! "Search function" ! "SEARCH" ! .......why not just scroll right past that post, and only open the ones that are of interest to you ?
That's what I do.
Hmmmm,
Fish
Awesome!!!
Sorry, not meaning to yell, computer at work was locked on all caps. Yea, i was thinkin of a black oval w/dark blue lettering since my truck is true blue. I just wish I could see how that would look at Patriot Decals on their website. As for the F150 badges (fender and tailgate) do Patriot Decal overlays cover the whole thing or just the lettering and will I have to paint the rest?
OK....how 'bout this then? Just type in "patriot decals", and there truly IS a wealth of information here about the topic.
My apologies your highness. I meant no offense to you or anyone else...just trying to be helpful. I didn't realize my link to the search results didn't work. I haven't had that trouble posting other links here, and why this one was different, I have no idea.
Not to worry....I'll not attempt to be of help anymore. I mean was I LYING when I wrote, there is a "wealth of information" on Patriot Decals on this site? For all I know, the new guy didn't know there was a search function. Besides, I didn't JUST tell the guy "Use the search" ! "Search function" ! "SEARCH" ! I tried to show the guy the results I got on the subject.
Henceforth, I shall scroll the forums with this thought on my mind...."WWFD".
Eh....whatever.
Hey Dewser.....
At the same time, I didn't mean for you to get all sensitive over the situation either :-)
Honestly, I don't think I've ever been to a forum "that didn't have a search function" although they typically suck..... and sometimes, I'd just as soon "ask" my question, instead of search for it.
Also, their are always a handful of guys that freak TF out, every time somebody asks a question, that gets asked every other day. So, if I mistook you for one of those guys, please forgive me.
It's just not that big of a deal either way.
Peace,
Fish
I'm pretty sure it's just the lettering. I know a lot of people here have painted theirs black (tape off around the badge, and spray paint) and then just gotten the letters with whatever color they want from patriotdecals. I think a painted black emblem with DSG lettering is something that I've seen a couple people here do.
If anything, I'm sure they'd be willing to work with you. I've gotten 2 sets from them and they came out great.
Hey man...no problemo. Now that I think about it, I went a little overboard on my response to you. Had a pretty rough day yesterday, but that shouldn't be an excuse.
Done, and done. Hurt feelings are for sissies. We're good.
Thanks,
Jason
