Look up Nite Shades or Night Shades, depends on how people spell it. Is that the look you want?

you have two options that you can go with...

1. pick up some cans of VHT nite-shades. coat your tails to the desired darkness. then take you tails to a body shop and have them clear them for you.

2. take your tails to a body shop and have them tint them with clear mixed with a little color.

either way will be a good way. but you will have a little more control over the darkness of the tails with the nite-shades.

thats one way to do it but it can be fairly pricey.....you can buy covers but if you like that flush look just spray them....some times they come out flat but mine came out VERY glossy....covers are gonna run oyu botu 50 and the spray is about 20 where i live

I'm going to do this to my F150 soon, but I already did this to my old truck ( Silverado ) and it turned out good. Its simply painting it.

The Krylon Acrylic Crystal Clear. I think people some people were having trouble with cheaper canned clears. That, and maybe prep work? Granted, it does help that the F150 lights are easier to work with than, say, my Expy lights. Those didn't come out as shiny as my dad's.

Looking up either "VHT Night Shades" or "VHT Nite Shades" on ebay, Summit Racing, or just google will yield you results. If you have an O'Riley's nearby, I think they can order it for you.
