looks like its gonna turn out nice. do you plan to tape everything off and paint the support bars black?

yep. after i clean them up. plastic likes to melt when you try to cut it with a dremel.

just finished it up. not sure if i like it or not. i'll probably end up picking up a CW or HD grille down the line.

that's what i don't like about it. it don't think it goes with the truck very well. not substantial enough. oh well, it wasn't terribly expensive since i got it with the roush closeout.

No, the reason you can see through it is the flash lighting everything up back there. Pic 1 (no flash) looks VERY nice! You do need to clean that brake dust off the fronts though!

it's not the flash, it's just as noticeable looking at it in the daytime. thinking about the CW monster bar.

nice mod idea man. i did the same thing with a similar grille on my truck and took it off lol. you're right it shows to much when you look at it dead on huh
