Good deal, will get this straightened out soon and probably going with the depo black projection L styles or TYC L's.

One thing that also crossed my mind, should the tips just be pushed back or the exhaust pipe cut back as well? Like will it bother my tone if I just push the tips back further onto the pipe rather than just welding them on the end of the pipe like they are now?

the black fits ur truck the best, but the orange stripe kinda throws they style of the light off. it just doesnt blend.

the chrome would llok ok, but i think i vote for the black.

try to find some without the projector, and see if you like those.

Is having the projector type a bad idea, I have no clue what the projector does but it looks pretty neat. I think I read that projectors are for making the light look better or something. Is there alot of wiring nonsense involved or are the depo ones plug and play?

Like these?

I think I have to have some orange in there due to NY law.

there is nothing wrong with them. some people like them, other think they are ricey. most BMWs, mercedes, and all those other highend cars have projectors with HIDs in them.

the lights in those links arent bad. my ranking would be:

1) 2nd link (these look the best)
2) 3rd link
3) 1st link

OK And where would the depo projectors like these rank? These are also like $4 cheaper lol not that it matters all that much.

Tie for 1st?

I think the projector depo's are gonna be the best best. The non projector black ones are the second best choice. I think the projector adds and extra touch of agressiveness to it. Now for the next question.

How hard are projectors to setup? Speciality bulbs??

im 99% sure they will be plug and play. mine has the row of LEDs so i have to solder a few wires together. your shouldnt be hard at all. im not sure what bulbs those will use, but when you get them, just pull them out real quick and check. but make sure NOT to touch the bulbs with your fingers directly. it will ruin it.

Yeah this doesn't have LED and it says OEM fit and compatibility so there must be a harness of some sort.

I don't have any first-hand experience with the projectors but I have done a lot of research so maybe and can pass along what I learned. My understanding is that they come with a harness which plugs into your factory plug. The other end plugs into your new lights....kinda like an adaptor. No cutting or splicing. I think the regular low beam lights uses your stock headlight bulb and the projector uses a separate bulb, a 9005 I believe. The projector comes on with your high beams. Be aware I have also read that you will probably have to trim your header panel (where your headlights mount) to make room for the back of the projector light. I have read that it is not so bad, maybe a 1/2 inch of trimming.

I think those will look good on your truck. Good luck and hope this helps.

Thank guys, I'm not too worried about the head panel trimming, that should be very simplistic. As long as I have some sort of instructions with what bulbs to get, thats all I care about. THANKS TO ALL FOR THE HELP!!

Nyfordguy, with those projectors you have to cut into your back headlight panel to make room for the projector housing sticking out. Also know that it seperates the high/low beams. Dunno what type bulbs it uses, though.

Edit: NVM, starquest beat me to it.
