question about light laws in WI?
question about light laws in WI?
A buddy of mine said he got pulled over by a state trooper a few days ago, he is driving a jeep with aftermarket bumper/winch/foglights/ etc... Well the "friendly" Statey said that his fog lights had to be covered when not in use? and that they are completely illegal to use on the highway??? I don't know this sounds kind of like bs to me, but maybe the statey just had a stick up his a** that day or something. Anybody know what the real law states??????????
Well, I doubt that he had stick up his pooter. I know you cannot run aftermarket lights (as in spotlights, extra fogs like you are talking on on a bullbar/brushguard/etc) while on the road. Especially on the highway. Go to any store and look at what the packages say ---> for offroad use only. Same with exhausts and a million other things in this state. Sucks, but that's how it is. A buddy of mine was told his needed to be covered as well while the vehicle was in motion
Weird, but whatever. On back roads late at night or when hunting they really come in good use too
Oh well.
