yeah--I've done everything from designing toys to collateral and package design for General Electric, but the cars and bikes thing is a lot of fun and
I enjoy getting away from the more corporate stuff. I grew up around Harleys so I like to tinker.

I think it's Tuscany or Ram Air.

I thought I was done with the bull and the PIAA's, but as mentioned, my bud said he had a hood in his shop and figured I would take a peek...fast forward 2 and a half weeks later and the hood is on. I couldn't pass it up! I was afraid it would make the truck look too busy in the front but I like it some people won't.
sorry if I'm a bit off topic...but what kind of PIAA bulbs do you have in your truck? are they head lights and fog lights? when i tried to get them they didn't have them for my truck (or so i was told)

and your truck looks great! that hood would look nice on white
is that the stock hood off of an FTX? kind of looks the same. and i think i've told you this before, but the color of your truck is a close second to white...it looks amazing!

The bulbs are Vision-X for both headlights and foglights--I got them from modbargains.com ask for Alon he's a member here as well.
The PIAA's are 520 driving lights-I used to have all this info in my sig but for some reason it won't allow me to post anymore.
Thanks for the compliments. White is one of my top choices for paint. Hood is Tuscany or Ram Air.

Wow LAZ! with the exception of the yugo i am impressed with everything youre posting! i've been loving your truck ever since you started postin, with this hood is officially my favorite truck on the site . I love your graphic work man. My work aint even close to yours in a million years. Hopefully i'm going to pick up some new techniques this summer with an internship i scored at a huge vinyl company in my area. Keep up the good work man.

I don't know what to say except thank you for all that.
As for the internship THAT IS GREAT! it will be great experience.
As in many fields you have to pay your dues--it sounds like you have a great attitude to learn and it will pay off!

Tell Kip you saw this posted, he'll get a kick out of it. BTW the truck hood was turned down by his brother--he said he wants it back once he saw it on.

Sheesh I had one of those days today couldn't even see that one comin'. I have to tell you all-- that visiting this site is therapy sometimes to get away from the day-to-day stuff and read everyones input and give what little I know.
Thanks again for all the comments...and therapy.

No problem, I suppose I could have just said "I want one!"

If you're getting the High Flow Filter with the hood, you'll have to let me know how it affects performance. I've been thinking of getting a cold air intake, but if I ended up with this hood, it wouldn't make much sense to.

Also, do you have any pics of the hood from the side? If so, I'd be interested in seeing them.

Thanks!
Jon

I'm researching my options for what to do about making it functional. I have to put a post as to some suggestions.

Here is the side view.

Yeah, that's a heck of a filter for sure. The only thing I wonder is how much dust/bugs/water would be able to make it into the hood when driving down the interstate?

I dont know how I missed this thread before! That hood looks awesome on your truck.

I'd recommend going with an AF1 or other open element filter over that one, it would probably be great for a street truck, but I wouldnt want to even drive in the rain with that filter
