Pics- Before and After

My '97 front end was looking very dated. I wanted to update the appearance but I am on a budget. Here is the before pic:

Here is a shocking pic- I actually do pride myself in keeping my truck looking mint and detailed, but when I pulled the stock grill
I also installed the bull bar...

Here is the somewhat finished (for now) pic. Bull Bar, new grill, Lightning heads and corners with Silverstar head lamps and turn bulbs (sun was too bright in these pics, so the lights dont look as nice as they do in real life.
And yes, the hood scoops...I know they are frowned upon here, but the hood I want is not in the budget right now, so these will temporarily fill the void. They do look very cool from inside the truck looking out...

Aside from the scoops, what do you think?

I think it all looks like an improvement...even the scoops. I would lose the bug guard though. Nice truck.

You can get them at Autozone or places like that.

IMO, you need to take off the bug guard, attactch the Ford emblem back on, add some 4x4 driving lights, and paint your top bumper pad and lower valence PTM to match

I do love the look tho, looks great for a lifted truck!

The Bull bar is an ebay item- I think I got it from Hunter Truck- its a "buy now" deal for $99- free shipping. Its not bad, easy to install, but like most on the market- its an appearance product. You arent going to be able to plow through Ricers with it.

The lights cost me $105, but as with most lights you get on eBay- they hose you on shipping- $39 additional. They came with new Phillips hallogen bulbs, but I didnt even use them. I bought the Silverstars for them.

And Patman- thanks for replying to the pm I sent you a few weeks back. You helped me a great deal trying to decide what to do with lights and grill for the front end

Rap- thanks for the suggestions

I got the scoops on eBAy as well- $114 painted and shipped to my door (just needed to give him the paint code. They are AVS brand scoops

Anybody good with photoshop? My sig is pretty sad looking
