Arrow Hella Blackouts + HIDs

I have been mulling over for some time on getting an HID kit from hid4u on ebay. But I am also pondering buying the Hella Blackout headlights to add with the HID kit.

http://www.autoanything.com/lights/6...0A2679572.aspx

I have a blue 06 FX4 and am looking for something to add to the exterior of this thing. Sure a grill would work, but I prefer being able to see over a grill.

The only thing I am afraid of with having the Hella blackouts plus the HID kit is that I am going to blind every freaking person on the road. I usually run my foglights and low-beams at night time. I know ppl hate that and I can only imagine it being a HID kit.

So thoughts would be appreciated !!

From what I understand, the Hellas have less glare with HIDs than the stock reflectors do.

I have the HELLA Headlights with H13 (9008) Bi-xenon (hi/lo) HID system. Properly aimed and have had no problems at all. No glare to on-coming traffic

Excellent. I just have to clear the purchase with the wifey tonight.

She called me from work and I told her I was going fishing tomorrow. She was very very sad to say the least.

Well I just picked up a 2.5" AS kit. So that will be the first of my fun next week. I have to see how bad I am going to be hurting on funds after my fishing trip tomorrow to see whether to buy the HID kit or the Hella lights.

Quality is your biggest problem. Take a look at the sale conditions on those lights.

"Defective products need to be reported and returned within 15 days for replacement. No returned will be accepted after that."

Hella blackouts are the route I went and would suggest. If not FX2 OEMs, but you'll pay through the nose at the stealership.
