OK so i want to get the 04+ dome faced badges. But i cant find ones saying "4.6L XLT triton" just ones saying XLT triton on the bottom. I dont really want to shell out big bucks to have custom badges made so the dealer ones will have to do. if you guys have pics of the different ones the dealers have that would be awesome.
FYI: the search function was used, and it was mostly useless.

does anyone know if there are holes also under the "triton v8" emblem below the F-150 emblem on the old body style? what i am wondering is what i am going to do if there are... i realize there are some under the F-150 portion, however, i am concerned about the badge beneath it that says "triton v8" if so, those probably wouldn't be covered by the new 04-08 emblem. can anyone confirm whether or not there are additional holes?
honestly, it may be cheapest to get them through your local ford dealer. mine wanted $17 per each fender, and $25 for the tailgate. online, the cheapest i could find them new for was $12 for each fender and $17 for the tailgate. once you factor in shipping, waiting, etc, it would be about as much hassle to go through the dealership, and they should have them in stock.
WTF? Mine were $27 fender each plus $25 for tailgate. *******s....
No, the Triton V8 badge does not have holes under it. It is attatched to the main F-150 badge and lines up with it.

ok, that settles it then. tomorrow, i am going to buy mine
mine will be the ones that say,F-150 XLT 5.4 TRITON. however, i will not be grinding the alignment notches off, i am going to use one in an existing hole, and drill another hole into my fender. guys, cross your fingers that i don't fubar my fenders!
Seriously though, I use my truck pretty heavily, and i like to mount things as sturdily as possible. for the record, the glue under my existing badges is phukked, so pulling them off should be pretty easy.
