Hey guys, I just did a search and now I have myself worried. I am about to win an auction on ebay for a broken 04-07 OEM honeycomb grille. One of the mountin brackets is snapped off the surround piece which is chrome. I have the color matched surround H bar grille in my 08 but I want the honey comb. I want to put the honey comb from the broken grill into my color matched surround. I bought the one on ebay because I thought the honeycomb to be a seperate piece from the surround piece. Is this true or not?

I search and found lots of painted grill threads but none of them have been dissassembled, they have been taped off. So now I am wondering if I am buying a useless broken grille.

 

They do separate. It just takes some effort.
