Wow, truck looks great.

Any pictures during the "pry-apart" phase? Or maybe just some tips. I'd really like to paint mine, but when I tried to bake em, they wouldn't come apart - I was doing more damage to the plastic housing than anything else.

Thanks

thx yall

i did lose alot of light from the fogs
but they look gr8 and have enough light to use them sneaking into the
deer club

i used a heatgun to remove them not the oven ... i just heated up small sections and used screwdrivers to help get them apart and once i got enough
apart i used my hands to pull then would heat more and pull
i took my time and had no problems ..then i used zipties to hold them together
while the permatex ultra black hi-temp rtv silicone dried
then ran another bead of it around the outside after they dried just to make sure of a gr8 seal

thx
thats from the soapy water that ya wipe on the tire when ya mount them
so the bead will slide into place easier when ya blow them up

Wow...simply wow! Great job with all the work. I gotta tell you this...I was not a red truck fan before but now I certainly am. I may even consider red for my next truck. Excellent job...great work!

Oh and did you use the same paint for the wheels as you did the emblems?

Haha, this is the craziest thing. I have a brand new set of Lariat wheels that I took the tires off of and didn't know what to do with them. I've been thinking of painting them black but really didn't know what they'd look like.

Thanks for giving me a preview.
