good question ncsu, i'd like to know that too. when you flash your high beams and you have bi-xenons, do the brights respond quick?

My HIDS both come on and only flicker for a fraction of a second when I unlock my doors.

when you have an HID kit in the NBS f150s the bulb is a single bulb for both high/low. when you hit the highbeam switch a small motor moves the bulb to a different angle very quickly to aim the lights higher. it does not cut power to the bulb or cause it to re-ignite. you can flash them all you want but it might burn out the motor quicker then usual.

That's what I wanted to hear. One more beer and I'll be ordering a set of Bi-Xenons for the heads and a regular set of 6000k for the fogs.

those will look killer with those PIAAs, especially when the LED is glowing

Yeah, I'm hoping that 6000k will be a good match. Here's another pic I took last night showing the LED glow...

Those are the lights that kick on when I hit the unlock button on the key fob. Fog's will turn on if I have the switch pulled (which I didn't).

okay, i'm pretty much sold on bi-xenons from hid4u. one final question, and i do know it's a matter of preference, but what "brightness" does everyone prefer? i want mine to have good output and still have that sweet electric blue color. 8000k? thanks for everyone's input!!!

dont go higher then 6000k. you will start to loose considerable light output. 8000k is just a pretty ricer blue color. 6000k its that baby blue and puts out a great amount of light. you wont be disappointed.
