Urgent help with HID Install (Pics inside)

So I bought my HID kit from Xenoneyes at the beginning of the week, and I just got them this morning. So i went out to try to install them, and the instructions were a bit... brief. I've done a bunch of searches on hids on the forum, but none seem to help much. I'm really ignorant electrically, so i was wondering if you guys could help me out. I have pictures of what I've done so far.

Here is the drivers side, I have the stock harness plugged in to the adapter. but there are two loose connections. I have no idea what to do with them.

Here is the middle of the harness that connects the two bulbs and ballasts. got what looks like a fuse box and another loose connection.

Here is the passenger side. again it has a loose connection and some kinda plug i don't know what to do with.

I could always flip the harness since it just plugs in to the ballasts, but thats what i've done so far. i was afraid/unsure of hooking anything up to the battery, but they may need to be done?

I know I look like an idiot not knowing how to do this, but i need help. I say urgent because I gotta go to work on Sunday and have my headlights all pulled apart. Thanks for your help guys

the one in the middle is the hot lead that goes to the red post on your battery. the other two are ground and they should plug in somewhere. mine were already plugged in

Is there any phone number in the instructions you can call in case you have trouble.?

I'd have to agree that the one with the fuse is to the positive battery terminal and the other "round" flat one sure looks like "ground" to me too. But the one with the strange plug? No clue at all. And, like you, I would not like to hook ANY of these up without knowing for sure.

Good luck!

ok i just checked my set up. the wires in the top and bottom picture are ground wires. if you look on the wiring harness coming off of the HID bulbs there should be a place to plug them in. then ground them. if you cant figure it out send me your email or phone number and i can call you later tonight when i get off work (around 10pm central time) and walk you through it. hope this helps

Red to the battery. Blue to the light socket. Black flat round to Ground.

thanks for all your responses. I found where the plug connection plugs into the harness coming off the bulbs. how do I put the red wire on the battery? Do I unscrew the positive batter cable from the post, hold the red connection to the post and then screw the cable back on?

I'm also having a tough time finding a spot to mount the driver side ballast. theres not a lot of room with the reservoir being right there. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I've got a Dodger game to go to (looks like i'm taking the subway and walking ) so I guess i'll have to get to it tomorrow. Thanks again

Don't you have a smaller, auxillary screw post on the positive side of your battery? The flat round thing on the line with the fuses should go right there. You don't want to put it on the battery post itself (just not a good connection).

Can't help you much with placing the ballast. But, placement should not be critical.

I agree the directions sent with the xenoneyes were converted to English by someone who does not fully understand the translation process. The folks at xenoneyes are helpful but only answer the phone during weekday hours. My kit only needed (2) low beam and ground wires to be plugged to the factory harness unlike your kit. Good news is once you have them hooked up and aimed correctly you will be pleased.

so i went out this morning and plugged in the grounds to the harness coming off the bulbs. no problem.
I then connected the red line to the battery. I think I found the auxillary post that I could get into, looked like this

I plugged the harness from the kit into the passenger side stock headlight plug (the blue connector), does it make a difference if its the passenger or driver?

after I thought everything was plugged up, I tried my lights and got... nothing.

did I burn something out while trying my lights on the previous attempts? could that have happened? I can't figure this ****take out. had to skip work today to try to figure this out, so please let me know.

Check all of your fuses? There's a good chance you blew something during your trials/errors. I'd start there.

x2 then i would just hook it up straight to the battery. worst comes to worst it could be a bad ballast. also check your grounds

yes i would hook it up right to the post.

the way to check fuses is look at the middle part of the fuse. you can see through the plastic and there is a piece of metal in a u shape. if that piece of metal is intact. then its good. if its broken its bad. you can also get bad fuses once in a while so i would just replace it with one of the same color
