First off, thanks for the help KingoftheRanch, piece of cake.
This method does not require headliner removal.
After removing the lens and unplugging the lights, up to the right in between the roof and headliner you'll see where the white harness clip is fastened through.

You must push the white clip through to release the wire harness. I used a long #1 screwdriver and tapped it w/a hammer.

Then I just pulled the harness through and unplugged it.

Plugged in the new light and that was it. Took me about 20 minutes

The fitment isn't as good as I would have like to have seen. I will keep a close eye on it to make sure I have no leaks.

Putco's have REALLY bad fitment on all of their products. You should've went with Recon. They look OEM-ish plus fit 100% perfect. I hope you didnt pay a penny more than $100 or else you got skrewd
the recon is a nice piece. i bought one for my dad for his birthday. when it came time to get mine, in figured i'd try the revotec lights from ebay since rock pick liked his so much. i actually prefer it to the recon. the incandesant bulbs for the cargo light up the bed better than the blue LED's in the recon, imo. the fitment was as good or better than OEM too, with the thick foam gasket. price was ~40.

. But seriously, I didn't pay that much but close enough for what it is.
