window tint $$

im planning on getting my front 2 windows tinted within the next couple days and a 6" strip on my windshield. front windows i want 15% to match factory rears and 5% on windshield strip. what should i expect to pay. ive talked to a few places and they have no problem going 15% for me.

midwest tinting in Kansas city quoted me $80 cash.. A small mom n pop placed quoted me at $65. Another place down in KC quoted $100. If that helps..

Got the exact same thing plus a lifetime warranty for $95.

Depends what type of tint they use, my place used ATR Charcoal, it looks better than any other tint I've seen IMO.

is there a special kind of film or what ever they use to make the tint better than another kind? i want it to last and not turn purple

Yes, there is differant brands of tint. Good ones wont fade-cant remember the name of it now, but generally the tint shops carrry good quality tint. Ask about a warranty if they have one-I have lifetime warranty for fading.
Also concerning the tint strip on the windshield-do you have the compass and such(little black box under the rearview mirror) because if you do they may not do a tint strip, they may recommend doing a vinyl stip on outside so they dont have to mess with the mirror, at least thats how my tint shop did my truck

$60 - $100 range sounds accurate for that.

were Ive worked for 4 years we use llumar and if we know you we will do it for 75 and customers 95, nationwide lifetime warranty

just got mine don today..... 2 fronts ... i think 20 or 15 to match the rears and a 10 year garuntee for 60 bucks
