Those headlights look identical to the ones on my truck. So I'm led to believe those are probably just FX-2 headlights, they're already black from Ford.

Your truck looks really nice, keep it up!

That's nice...rub it in! I spent a week of cursing and fuming doing mine up the hard way. I sooo wish I'd have just bucked up and purchased some. But the end results I'm happy with. Your truck looks fantastic...can't wait to see it with the stealth bulbs.

i inspected them closely before i installed them and they seem to be in fine condition. for the hell of it i put a bead of clear silicon around the lense to make sure the housing was 100% sealed since that seems to be the biggest problem with these eBay headlights.
probably the smartest thing you could have done to be proactive.
I bought black tails off eBay from a power seller and they leaked the very next day when it rained. I siliconed the hell out of them and so far-so good.

Those look sweet, good choice

lol, sorry! did you paint yours yourself? i was going to, but didn't have the time.

now that i have the stockers sitting in a box, i'm either going to let them sit on a shelf as backups.... paint them when i have the spare time and sell them... or sell them in their stock condition. whatever i choose to do, it won't be done for a little while since i gotta wait till i have 100 posts to do anything on this site, lol.

me either! lol.... the black headlights came with turn signal bulbs and side marker bulbs already installed. because the side marker lenses are now clear, i left the provided amber bulb in there. however, i replaced the provided turn signal bulb because theirs was like a yellowish-faint orange, lol. i didn't even want to bother lighting it up to see what the hell it looked like. it was probably the cheapest bulb they could buy, lol. i trashed it immediately and stuck my stock amber bulbs in. they'll work till i get them replaced this afternoon.

looks very nice! If my truck was black I would paint mine. You should get the tint overlays for the fogs to give them a darker look but still shine bright.

looks good dude.

if you want to save a few bucks, go to www.autolumination.com and order their stealth bulbs. they're chrome when off unlike the SS's that have a blue tint. they also cost a fraction of what SS's do.

I just ordered a pair of the same headlights along with my HID's. Thanks for the tip on the silicone. I will seal mine before I install them.
