want halo headlights
Just unscrew it and you can just pull it off...
well who ever the hell told you that is driving around with a loose projector. there is no plate behind the light, and those screws are what hold the projector in place. i just went out and looked at it, and there is no slot for any kind of plate to come out of. so im just wondering who told you that?...

Well i guess your is still the old projectors!!! The new one has screws thats located just on the projectors. The area where you put your H3 Light bulbs, that's suppose to have screws that you can take out and pull the plate out.... I've installed projectors before so I know what am talking about, but if yors don't have it then am sorry to say but your light output will always be poor unless you installed HID's, and yes H3 HID bulbs will fit in your porjector housing...
well there are 3 screws behind the projector that are what hold the projector in. there are three screws on the back of what is my high beams that dont look like they are suvering any purpose at all. i will pull the lights out, take pictures, and put them on here so you can point out the exact screws i need to take out.
and about the HID bulbs, i have a sticker on the back of lights that says HIDs not allowed. do i need to go by this, or go ahead and put some in??...because the front of the housing is plastic and not glass.....
thanks for the help!

About that.... Well it's uup to you, in my experience the same thing was on my buddies projector for his projector and we still put some 8000k hid's in them and it still working fine, and like i said mine was plastic and made in freaking china (of course) and used H3 hids and worked out pretty good, yah send me some pic, I'll try to help you out as much as I can....
h3? i thought they were h4 bulbs? anyway, i have the same style DD88 is talkin about, the plate i remember seeing held the whole bulb in place.

what happen to yours? mine tried to smoke the wiring when i first got them. that lady hung up on me in customer service when i called asking for a new headlight because they had defective wiring. well lets put it this way, they sold me a headlight and didnt warranty their electrical? i went off and she hung up the phone... i hope she cried.
I'm with you, everyone is entitled to their own taste in looks. I have halos on my BMW and Mercedes and want them for my Expedition, I am not a wanna be. Imma be doing it the way I want. With that said, anyone know where to find the ones that will be extra bright and show up in the day?
