match the handles?

match the handles?

I got my checker plate tool box line-x'ed the other day, and the handles arent done and it looks a bit unfinished with the silver handles compards to everything else black... any ideas on what i could do to match it a bit? thanks

Without pictures to go by - maybe you could spray them with black PlastiDip? This is a spray can version of the "dip" cans you buy to coat your tool handles with plastic. It would make them black and it is quite durable.

hey sorry for not having pictures... i work away in camp. i will definately look into that stuff, thanks

You're welcome buddy. I've found this stuff in Home Depot here in the States. Don't have a clue where you'd get it in Canada (I didn't notice your location when I sent my earlier reply).

But, I've used it to coat tool handles, electrical connections, and so on. Once it cures - it is VERY durable. But, giive it several days to get to that state.
