supercrew LED tails

why is it that nobody has made any of those aftermarket LED composite taillights for the 01-03 supercrews? its the same taillights as the stepside beds and between the two models there are hundreds of thousands of them on the roads so why not make the LED tails for them, I have hated Euro tails and all that nonsense, but I think a set of factory looking red taillights with the LED composite panels in them would be awesome...Not just one LED replacement bulb, Im talking about the lights where the majority of the light housing is filled with individual LEDs just like on the factory equipped LED taillights on cadillacs, and other high end vehicles

I hear ya man. I don't know what I am going to do with the back taillights, our choices are so limited. I think I am going to go black headlights and taillights. i would to see some flareside LEDs for our trucks.

Here's the tails I'm looking at, but I certainly am not in love with them. How do you like your Euros?

I'm waiting for the LED tails for my '05 flareside. Another thing that burns my chaps is Ford has the "flareside" Chevy has the "stepside" these manufacturers and sellers need to get them right. I know they all mean the same thing in the end but daggonit it makes it easier to identify. Sorry, I feel a little better.

jk, i dont have euros..i had a set once on my first truck back when euros first came out and swore i would never do it again. I just want an OEM looking taillight with the LED panels inside, maybe something that could possibly be fabbed up...i just love the way the back end of a truck looks when you hit the brakes and bright deep red LED panels come to life

Yes Sir, fairly OEM look in day time except reverse light is on bottom. You can make out the halos that contain the LEDs a bit but thats it. I will take and post more pics tomorrow.

thank you so much, b/c ive held off getting one of those line of fire bars b/c i thought it would look stupid if my normal brake lights were not LED but this could tie it all together. i just dont want to lose my oem look.

That's what I'm saying. By summer I'll have OEM-looking LED mains and the recon 3rd smoked CMHSL light to match my F&I. I think the LED setup would look sweet at night. I just can't wait to get all of this paid for!

Wants vs needs.... New heads/tails or new tires to replace my badly-worn M's?
