Should I Paint The Valence?

So I'm looking to PTM my front bumper white. Should I do the lower valence too, or leave it as-is? \/ \/ \/

I've never seen a valence painted. Would white bumper/white valence be a good combo? Or just re-paint it black? Anyone have a painted valence on here?

Also, is the bumper easy to remove? I have my lower billet insert attatched to the frame, so I'm thinking just undo whatever is holding the bumper on, pull it straight off, and put it straight on w/o even touching my insert or PA speaker. Is that possible?

The bumper should come off pretty easily. I pulled both the front and rears off of 2 different f150's (a 00 and my 03) when installing body lifts. I believe it is 4 bolts and it comes right off. I used a regular rachet, nothing to it. PB blast will help, but probably not necessary.

Just make sure you have someone holding it up, it can be a little difficult trying to unbolt it while still supporting it so it doesn't smash into the ground and dent. You shouldn't have to disconnect anything I believe.

I say paint the bumper, valence, AND the grille shell. Door handles would be nice too. Throw some tint on the windows then and it would look pretty dang nice

Yeah, I've been thinking about the grille shell. I got it chrome cause I thought it would look killer in chrome, but now that I think about it, it would look nice in white. Is it hard to paint and CC over ABS chrome? I definately will be getting new white door handles ASAP. My truck has standard 25% tint but as soon as it starts to peel I'm going to throw 15% on it.
