Stuck corner lights

So I got a new grille for my 02 F150 and I am taking off the stock grille shell. I took the torx screw out, but when I try to slide the signals out, they don't move at all. What would be blocking the signal lights from coming out? Its fairly cold out side but I do not beleive their frozen in. Is there any way that I could force the signals out?

Please reply as soon as possible as the front end is apart as of now. Thanks for your help

Have you got the main headlight out? That's held in by a clip that looks like a 7, you just pull up on it.

No I haven't taken the main headlight out as I figure you would have to take the grille off first then the main headlight out. If you could take a picture of this L clip that would be awesome, thanks man

Are you trying to pull the corner lights out in a forward direction, or to the side, because you should be pulling on them towards the direction your car would go if you are driving. You don't have to remove headlights to take out the corner lights

First you wanna remove the heads. It's a lot easier this way. You'll see two flat black things behind the heads. Pull up and blakc (towards the engine) and wiggle them until they pop up. Pull the heads out. Then when you remove the torx, you pull the corners forward until they pop out.

You have to pull straight forward on those things HARD. If you have somewhat smaller fingers you can kind of get them back between the back edge of the corner light and grille shell and pretty much heave your whole body wieght forward.

Another thing to try might be to get a rag, double it up, and stick it over the end of a wider flat blade screwdriver. Stick it between the back edge of the light and the grille shell and twist the screwdriver 90 degrees so it might pop it forward enough that you can pull it out.
