does anyone know if you can get a tailgate from the 08/09 that has the tailgate step up and the fold up bar and put that on a 2006 f150.....dont know if this is a crazy question but i figured this would be the place to ask...

 

Betting my $0.02 it wont. The 09's look like a completely new design.

BTW, what do those futuristic 2206 F-150's look like? I didn't think Ford would last that long! (Check vehicle info)

 

no one knows for sure yet but it may be possible......

 

Might fit but might look funny with the new flaring at the top of the new gate...
