good brand?
with purchasing headlights many things other then general looks play factor.
seems - is it leak proof, will it fog up?
plug and play - will it require new wiring? utilize stock bulb?
>> housing / lens- will the lens start to flake off and discolour anytime soon?
(very common with **** headlights from ebay, many of the lenses start peeling etc very soon)

i still say twc.. you can piece tyc lightning replica headlights and tyc lightning corners for the same price or a tad more.

i recommend tyc over anything other then oem... only because i know the quality is there.

Does TYC make those heads with the HD type heads? I've learned the HD's heads are fully reflective while L's have that circular reflectors.

Well i really don't wanna screw with the projectors....plus I think 98% of them aren't going to look good on my truck. I would LOVE to get some of the black housing headlights, but I dunno if TYC makes them like that, my truck has the black bumper topper there, as you can see in my sig, and I think black headlights would look SICK with that as a compliment.

See what I mean?

black huh? although am not a fan of them on our gen i would ONLY get these.. they look pretty sexy and are the only black housings i love.
(i would just seal them up prior to install to make sure)

there are the depot ones as well which are decent.. but i find the projector makes the housing look too busy.

I like both, but have a question about each.

1 how would i go about sealing to ensure condensation and waterproof ness, and two, how MUCH wiring is involved in the projector ones...I really like both, either or wouldn't matter.

Don't you think black is matching good?

just a waterproof silicone would be good. just run a beed around the endes of the lighting etc to lessen the risks of condensation.
the depot lights should be fine... if they are depot and or tyc you don't have to seal them... anything else its safe to say i would do it just in case.

in relation to the projectors you could just wire them to either your highs or your running lights.. several ways in which to wire them and depot provides proper harness' and wiring diagrams.

i like black headlights on darker trucks yes, but not on our gen trucks 97-03 imo they don't look right.

the truck is dark enough and has enough black on the front end to tie in together. if you had a black grill insert it be even more.

Right, I see what you mean. I think I'm leaning toward the depo projection ones you suggested. I agree the projection additions makes it look "busy" but I think itd really accent my truck.
