That's not a true "Lightning" bumper on his truck, just a lower valance that looks similiar. I was debating going with that on my truck. but i have a nice dent in my chrome bumper now. So, i am going to buy the bumper cover from ABC Exclusive that looks like the "L" but also cover the entire chrome portion.

His truck looks good!

I second vote for STX valence, but I vote before that you ditch the chrome surround. Looks great tho!!

I got mine from the forums for 60 shipped to my hands (he was pretty local) and it cost me 60 to paint it.

The Lightning one is about 250 from stylinconcepts if i remember correctly.

But dont expect to find the deal i got on mine. Oh and i got the Harley Davidson foglights for 40 shipped

I had an 01 lightning and i like this lower valance set up better have to have some chrome. I thing the chrome on the bumper and the chrome mirrors look good together. Next i am putting on the cobra r hood and i have the lightning engine to put in soon as it gets warm and i can work in the garage.

that would look good, but for all that money and time, why not just buy another L?

I like them, but with any aftermarket hood I've seen or heard of, they never line up properly. My friend's '95 has a dual induction hood and you can see that whoever installed it didn't do it right or the manu. made it wrong. Be careful and see how they line up if you ever see one in a Wal-Mart parking lot one day.
