Nice find, that opens some doors now. I can't find a set of tailights I really like so now I can put my own twist on them!

I'm curious how badly this affects the lighting. I wanna do my cargo light.

it depends on how many coats you put, hence how dark it is. a real light smoke color hardly effects the light output. i had jet black ones of my ranger and i just ran hyper white bulbs and it look like stock at night time.

mine are almost completely black when they are turned off, and they light up just fine when on. they are still very bright
