Trouble with Xentec foglights...need some help

I just installed this HID light kit, went to fire it up and....nothing. This is on a 2004 F150. I have 12v to the ballast and absolutely nothing on the output side. The ballast doesn't make any sort of hum and doesn't get warm at all. Is there something I'm overlooking here? It seems like it would be something stupid and simple but the setup is simple as hell. It's just a plug and play right into the factory wiring, I even tried a connection direct to the battery and still nothing. Is it possible that both ballasts are defective? They are brand new..

Anyone else have any issues with these lights? Or any ideas on my problem? I've noticed a few people have installed them recently but haven't read about any issues. I hate it when I'm excited to install something new and it doesn't ****ing work.

Also, does Xentec have a website? Can't seem to find one on Google...

Goofy but, make sure that the plug is plugged in right side up into the ballast.

I had an issue with one of mine after I had to pull the bulb to deal with a tiny bit of moisture in my assembly. When I put it back together and plugged it in -- nothing. It stumped me for the better portion of an hour.

Not sure how your kit may be but mine had a little 'notch' that the plug's latch thing would go over and thus, lock it into place. As I had plugged it back in, I had it upside down and thus, the pins weren't matching to what they should...

BTW, FWIW, I have a 9005 kit in mine... they aren't Xentec but, they are a similar Chinese product with questionable quality standards.

LMAO!

Oh my god I am ****ing retarded. There's a large notch on one side of the connector I was using to clip the plug onto, was kind of a tough fit I thought. I didn't even notice the small notch on the other side where it was supposed to go. ****! Haha, **** happens to the best of us, i guess.

Thanks for the reply RockPick, I probably wouldn't have noticed that for quite some time.

Yeah, that's what I put in, well 5000k instead of 6000k, but it was the 9005. Once I put the damn plug in the right way they're great. I guess you'd know already having the headlights done. I'm driving around only with my dims and foglights right now, I can see better with the fogs than the high beams.
So I figure I'm gonna have to do the headlights as well.

How's that headlight kit working out for you BTW?

So far so good, kinda gotta play with the angle of the bulb to get good lines between low and high. but the visibility is AWESOME. best 150 dollar mod ive done by far. ill try to get some pics up soon, maybe this weekend.
