gixxer,
Did you tape off the clear areas for the cargo lights, or just tint the entire 3rd brake light? I would like to tint mine, but would like to get the most light out of the cargo lights. I dont know how it will look if I take those areas off.

For clear, could you use the clear spray paint they sell at Wal-mart, or should you only use the stuff they have at a paint shop (how much)? This is for a Niteshade application.

Does anyone know how well these work? They look pretty cool and are fairly cheap
I bought these in blue. They look awesome in the truck. I get comments on them all the time. The lights are tiny but they are way bright and thats why I got them because you cant see the light unless you crawl up under the dash. The instructions were mediocre but the seller answered my q's in a few minutes. I recommend them to anyone looking for cheap accessories. They were running a sale so I bought 2 sets. here is a link to the ones on sale.

Just remembered! To get aluminum-colored High Heat spray paint and give a few coats to your stock exhaust system should it be brownish.

I took my front and rear ovals off and sprayed them with black Krylon Superbond spray paint. The spray paint is specially made to bond to plastics and many other surfaces.

Thanks for the info, I'm planning on doing a 99+ front bumper swap on my truck. I was thinking that being my tow hooks are 3inches lower than stock I could run the tow hooks and the stx valence? We'll just see
