I was browsing through ProCarParts.com a while ago and I see the headlights I want, but for like $250 when I found them for $170 on another site. But then I saw an almost-exact set for cheaper but the description is the same. Can anyone tell me the difference between these two Lightning-style headlamps?

I'm leaning toward the ones on the bottom, I like the way they look, plus I found them for $170!

 

do any of them have brand names? if they do. go with the brand name. or you can do what i did. i went on eBay and bought a pair of harley headlight ripoffs for $160. then went to the auto parts store and bought a $4 tube of clear silicone. then when the lights came i sealed up every crack i could find with silicone. even if it was already sealed. now i have a set of completely waterproof harley heads for only $164

Besides the obvious appearance difference, the only other thing I see is that the ones on the bottom apparently use different bulbs and an adaptor rather than using the factory bulb. I'm not really clear from the description whether or not the new required bulbs are included. The corners appear to be identical with both sets. I have heard of APC but I haven't heard much about product quality. Not sure about the "Generation 3" lights either. Where did you find the ones for $170?

 

yeah, the ones i have are the bottom ones and they are the depo headlights, and i never had a problem they come with the new harness, very simple to hook up. i have had them over a year and still look brand new

So abotu $200 with S&H. I got paid today so I've got $144 in the bank. Maybe next paycheck I'll go and grab them.
