Pinstriping

So, I have a white 2007 XLT SCAB and I'm interested in getting black pinstriping like the Lariats I've seen around.

I called the dealership and they said that in order for them to order Lariat pinstriping, they'd need the VIN# off a similar truck with the pinstripe.

Does anyone have a truck that matches the bill? OR do you know of a way to order this "part"?

Thanks.

I would try a local automotive supply chain.
You can usually match up a style or come really close.
You could also go with a local painter and have them hand done.

I was thinking once I get a matching-white hardtop tonneau cover, I'm going to get two long blue pinstripes down the stop of my truck, and then, like the Mustang and Shelby GT500 have, get:

===F-150===================

Along the bottom of the rocker panels in matching Ford Blue or whatever Blue they use. I think it would look sweet!

While your at it look at the sticker and see what they charge for the stripe package! Probably between $120 and 175! You can go to your local auto parts store and buy a roll of stripe that would do 3-4 trucks for $10 - $15. If you have to have the Lariat name in it get a local sticker guy to make them for you. Good luck!
