Need some help finding some warning lights..

My dad works powerline construction and they just switched jobs and they're trying to get the new truck fixed up right (2008 F350 Superduty)

i need some VERY high visibility flashers for the front and rear, and a low profile top mounted light bar.

give me some ideas here... like names of companies.....

thanks ya'll!

Do a search for police light, someone here wanted to put a police bar on top of his truck and I remember others telling him about some sites.

there is a company called Lighting x (www.lightingxproducts.com) I am in the fire department and attended a FD conference in Indianapolis, IN. This was when i was first exposed to this company and their products are AMAZING to say the least.. and are very resonably affordable. If you do not like any of their products... then you can fall back on Galls.com. Hope this helps!

All companies that deal with public safety and sell lights. The last company I bought from was http://www.rimindustries.com/ they had the best prices on led stuff, which I highly recommend, so much less amp draw to deal with.

Anyone know about limits on having a strobe system or headlights flashers in a private vehicle which will only be used OFF-ROAD or in carshows? I saw a Silverado last year with strobes up the butt at a show and I'm sure the 16-year old wasnt a cop or firefighter.

My dad (whos name the truck you see below is under) is a Sergeant for the Department of Corrections in Florida. Am I allowed (legally) to have headlight flashers/strobes on my (his) truck just for show purposes?

I would also love to get a police/fire/EMS-band scanner to compliment my CB radio and aviation scanner (I'm a student pilot, and if I couldn't fly, I want to be a highway patrol officer) Whats the rules on these?

Don't mean to hijack the thread, just trying to stay on topic
