5% tint
You wont be able to see at night with eather of those tints on your front windows back is fine , plus on the newer trucks you have a light factory tint, so add a % to that and its even darker.
I have 40% front and 15 back with factory tint , but in CA your not allowed to tint the front or I might of gone a little darker

My rear window was originally say 50%, and the back sides around 25%.
I know have a layer of 5% and 20% over the rear window. Then a layer of 5% over the side backs, and a layer of 35% on the front with a layer of 5% over that.
It's pretty dark. And yes, it is hard to see at night but I manage.

i can see out of my front windows fine and i have 15% on them. i had 5% on one of my old trucks and it was impossible to see out at night, but with my screw i can see out just fine at night from all windows, i have rear privacy glass and the front was just tinted with new 15% to match the back about two months ago
2.5%
I have it on my back windows. Would have done the front but I havent gotten around to taking off the door panels. I had an 03 Ranger 2.5% all the way around.

depends how dead set your local boys in blue are about giving tickets on it. ours are somewhat relaxed even though the law is 35%, and i run around with 5 all the way around, and night time isnt bad. check my gallery, i'd like to even put more on the windshield to cut out that silhouette during the day
Ive worked at a tint shop for 2 years and the 2 most popular options are either match the front to the facrory back or put 15% over the rear and 5% on the front 2 and they will match all the way around the truck (+ or -)1-3% depending on the film used
