tinting question
Solarguard is one of the best films to use. It contains metal particles in it which prevents it from turning purple like dyed films. Also solarguard used to have a lifetime warranty against bubbles, fading, and scratches too. I'm sure they still do , but I've been out of it for a while now.
i've been calling around the local shops here and no one will do it illegal bc they say they can get fined. so i like the idea of the no trimming so i will order that and let someone who knows what they're doing put it on. so according to everyone i guess i should order 20%? and, do i need to order the charcoal or what?

I was told 15 on my rear windows, so I had 15% on the front and 15% over the factory tint on the back.. Very pleased with the result.
As far as shops not doing it, when I had mine done they would do it for cash only with no receipt, as they can be fined...

I got Solarguard Smoke 20% and it's a darn good match. Looks the same from the outside, from the inside there's a slight difference in color but you'll never get a perfect match. The cool thing about snaptint.com is that they precut it to the exact shape of your window, no trimming required! You do have to tuck it below the rubber seal at the bottom of the window though. Only took me about 45 min for the whole job, glad I didn't pay a shop 4x more to have it done.
Just depends on how comfortable you feel with trying it. I figured it was worth a shot, for $35 if I screwed it up I wouldn't have felt bad about taking it off then going to a shop. I'll try to take some pics this weekend if you're interested. It's going to be nice today and tomorrow so I'm going to detail the Screw!

I'm going to order 20% from snaptint.com. If i order the smoke tint will it match the factory tint? Also, I want to tint my very back window a little more. Is this already 20%? Would it look good if i did another 20% over the back window?
i got 5% all the way around, it looks good, no bubbles and no problems, its dark, kinda hard to see at night but it makes the truck look much better, just cant cant stand stupid cops, got a ticket for it about a month ago, they just started inforcing it the tint laws where i live, but it looks good so im keppin it
