Help me decide...on a grille.

Okay, give me some opinions. Based on my current setup with the new wheels/tires/flares being pretty aggressive...I have a Carriage Works black powdercoated grille that replaces the H-Bar center portion of my factory grille. I also have the kit to relocate the Ford logo onto the Carriage Works grille. It's a quality quality piece. The install looks a tad tricky, but I think I'll be fine. I think the black powdercoated finish will jive well with my bull bar on the front. The problem is that I'm growing kind of fond to this H-Bar style grille, eventhough it was one of the first things I wanted to replace when I got my truck. It looks aggressive, which tends to flow well with these wild flares and wheel/tire package.

YES or NO to the black powdercoated billet grille upgrade?

It fits the look. I say keep it. Personally I don't like the looks of that grill on my STX. That is why I am ditching it in favor of something a little more sporty. If I was going for the rugged off-road look I would probably keep it.

I like the look of the grille with the flares and bar. If you had the honeycomb style I would definitely say swap but the bar style looks good. My 2 cents.

I really like the new chrome H-bar grill on the new 07's. I have an 06 screw with the chrome surround. I wonder if the new grill just goes over the honey comb grill or do i need to change inserts? Also anybody know where i can get this grill. Thanks

It's not that difficult. If you are considering going back to the original grille, use a hairdryer to heat the plastic tabs of the center section, much more pliable and less likely to break off,

F150:
The black grill would look nice with your set up.
