I have a FX4 2005 and going to replace the grill with either a black or the Beige honeycomb grille. I just bought a black XLT grille and waiting for it to arrive. However I would like to get the trim piece in Chrome regardless of which ever I go with. The guy has sent me an extra trim piece and thought about having it painted. I called a local body shop and said if I hated it painted chrome it wouldnt look right and would be best to find one off a Lariat truck? Is this true?

Also if anyone has a Lariat honeycomb grille and/or Chrome Trim that has upgraded grilles and have there old one for sale please LMK and Thanks!
