I've been playing with this idea in my mind. I have a plain ol' 99 F150. I guess the main thing I need to know is are the truck beds interchangeable? I have a lot of 'show' stuff in mind for my truck, and there are just more options for the stepside pickups, probably due to the lightning being a stepside. If they are, I figured I'd just start saving up the money for a paint job and try to find a bed in a junkyard somewhere. TIA.

Some search hints:
If you get 500 returns then you are too vague. (500 is the limit)
Try searching in only the Forum that would be most likely, then next likely etc..

Also, change the date range to '1year' and 'older', this will eliminate a lot of 2004 & up posts.
The thread I linked to was from the year 2000, took me awhile to get it.

You can also sort 'ascending' this puts the oldest on top.
If you are looking for info on older models like ours, most all of the 'new' discoveries and ideas were written about early on (years ago).
Anything latter was rehash, and after years the experienced members went silent.
I grow weary myself.

At one time, the webmaster had 1 thru 5 year breakout option code.
This would also help isolate posts.
Perhaps when he gets a chance he'll put that code back in.
