I'm having issues... Depo lights and McCulloch HID's

Anybody install the Depo lights and have pics of the beam pattern shown on a wall (parked 25 feet away) and pics of the pattern down the road?

The beam pattern of my McCulloch HID's is very similar (from what I remember) to the pattern of the stock bulbs. Couldn't get reference pics because the garage parked across the alley had a car parked in front the night I decided to do the install.

Problem is, at least with the HID's, is that when shining on a wall I can see that the beam pattern isn't uniform. I have an upside down "L" just to the right of the center of both beams that extends above the cutoff a little. I also have dim spots in the middle of the beams when shining down the road. It makes it hard to aim horizontally. I drove with the stock bulbs for maybe a week (sun was starting to rise when I did use them), so I didn't really notice the dim spots. I did notice the "L" however.

I don't know what to do, maybe I have a bad batch, maybe the bulb isn't seated properly (all bulbs, even the corner bulbs) were VERY hard to remove/install on the Depo lights. I really thought I was going to break something. The instructions for the McCulloch kit was translated VERY poorly and wasn't much help other than the diagram (install was pretty straight forward). Maybe somebody knows what will help or has pics so I can compare.

In the meantime, I'll see if I can get a picture of what I'm describing.

Its not the HID kit its the Depo lights. You can aim the lights up and down and see if that helps the pattern. But in the end its those lights that are giving you a crappy beam pattern. Ideally you should have projector style headlights with HIDs. These are going to give you the best beam pattern and cutoff.

my Xantec kit from HID4U on e-bay has a near perfect cutoff and pattern. When I first installed and turned on the pattern was all funky... then I realized I had the bulbs in upside down.. you might want to try flipping them and see if it helps.

I thought it was the headlamps. I tried the stock bulbs and it gave me a similar beam pattern, though not as pronounced. *SIGH*

I know projector lenses are best, but I guess I should have done my homework with the Depo lights. It just seemed to me that everybody liked them, though I'm guessing they only liked them for the looks. Probably going to be selling them because I can't live with a crappy beam pattern.
