I have LUND lo-pro. Looks great and I think it is a little thicker than most others.

I bought the Ford bug shield and I think the instillation is not ideal. It has clips that clip onto the hood and I feel after a long while will damage the paint. Just my .02.

I like the low profiles, any stock one looks best.

On mine the grille had to be removed. I think it's 10 bolts. It's sandwiched between the edge of the hood and the grille.

I have the ford low profile deflector. There is a thicker plastic "sticker" that you put on close to each corner of the hood. Then there is a metal clip that you slide onto each of the stickers in order to keep from them being put directly on the paint. The center of the deflector is between the grill and the hood. I liked how my GM bug deflector attached to the hood of my 2500HD a lot more. Obviously the front ends are different on the F-150, so there is not a lot of options for attaching them. I think it has saved a ton of rock chips though. Another item I have used in the past and really liked was the 3M stone guard protector. It is a clear film they put on the paint to keep it from getting chipped. I had it on my 01' Camaro SS, I took the film off the car when it had 21k miles on the car. There was not one chip on the front end. It looked the same as the day it came off the showroom floor.

I have the Ford mini-chrome deflector

I like how it mounts. You have to remove the grill and use the bolts on it to mount the deflector. It goes on between the hood and the grill
