Why dont people just take off the F150 handles and have a body shop paint them. Am i missing something with the LT handles. What makes them so special that you couldnt just have your F150 handles painted to match your truck???????

You would still be missing the actual chrome handle that goes along with it...also I think the texture is different and cant be easily painted over...am I correct?

Did you drop off regular handles or lt handles?

After Market Handles

New to this site today. I went a different route for aftermarket handles... with the Chrome Hole Shot Grippin billet handles. I don't have them installed yet, and I haven't quite figured out how to show photos. I have the Chrome package on my truck so it should look good with the chrome handles. You can google them at grippin billet.

you need to go to a free web hosting site like imageshack.us and host your picture then copy and paste the link for the picture right here where you are typing...it transfers into the picture...pretty cool stuff

its cheaper to buy all new ones and get the chrome strap than it would be to have the little bit of texture smoothed, primed, painted and cleared at a body shop. it took me 2 hours to sand just the tailgate handle, i got good results with just a spray can but i didnt like the look of the ones on the doors. im sure now that the color matched handles on the 07's are now a good option for those who want full color matches.
