I have a 05' FX4 crew cab and i need help finding a grill can you guys make a sugestion or post up pics of yours i went to the local truck shop and they said that i have an XL by looking at the front end?

 

I don't know what they mean by XL. But if you have the FX4 you have the bar design. You can get grill inserts for between the bars or you can completely take off the bars and stock mesh (if any) and put on a replacement.

yea thats great but can you give me some company names and i like the second pic better but does that mean that i have to cut the plastic bars out and if so how does it look and how much of a pain is it?

 

I dont know how much of a pain it is, but i know with the honeycombgrills they are just held in by clips and a couple screws. I don't think it would be hard. Your cheapest bet is to go to Ebay....but if you want actually brand name Carriageworks and the Roush grills are popular.

The bar types are held in with clips and screws, so far that I can tell. They are rather stubborn clips, but they are there.
